A platform for positive and constructive discussion on ways of looking at history, architecture, archaeology, and conservation
It would be awesome if U people had an official facebook page.
Working on it Abir, we are a small team at the moment so it will take time..
is there any way we could participate
We’ll let you know about our next event and you are welcome to participate in the event or its planning. Apart from that, do let us know any other ways in which you think you can help – this is a voluntary organisation so the more willing hands the better. We are also looking for help with accessing/cataloguing information, coordination etc.
Hi, I would be interested in catalog/accessing information activities. I am based out of Bangalore. Do let me know how to get into action.
Saurabh, You could start a local group to document and visit any monuments in your area, as a beginning – a Friends of ASI Bangalore. Also, if you could people who live around these monuments, and have any memories/experiences/ histories that they can share with you. Please let us know how it goes, and perhaps you could share it here aas well.
Pls send us a short bio and how you think you could help – in planning events or participating in them. This is a voluntary organisation so we are happy for as many willing hands as we get.
How can i become a member?
Pls send us your details and email id, we’ll add you to our list and let you know about forthcoming work/events.
I’d love to be a part of your team. Are there currently any opportunities that would allow for it?
Hi Divvya. We are a bit dormant for some time. Will get back once there is something. But you can always start with any monument in your area, document, interact with local residents, and let us know what transpires,
