Resulting from interaction between the ASI, Friends of the ASI, Mother International School and the residents of Begumpur Village, a public event is planned on 30th January 2013, Wednesday, at Bijay Mandal-Begumpur from 11.00 am -1.00 pm.

11.00 – Meeting point – in front of Bijay Mandal Dome structure.

11-11.30 – MIS Students to lead walk from Bijay Mandal to Begumpur Mosque, end at Mosque.

11.30 -11.50 – View Exhibition of Photographs from the ASI Collection chosen by Shri Nageshwar Rao of ASI Delhi CIrcle, put up within mosque.

11.50 -12.10 Gather in Mosque Courtyard: Shri AK Pandey, Dy SA, ASI Delhi Circle  to speak about ASI’s work.

12.10 – 12.30 Shri Raghubir Singh, Village elder, to speak about his memories of Begumpur, positive suggestions about improving its environs.

12.30-12-40 – Viewing of short film by MIS student, Pratyush

12.40-12.50 – Dr Narayani Gupta to wrap up and briefly talk about future plans at Bijay-Mandal – Begumpur.
